Mr. Raymond D. Garza 81, of Brownfield passed away peacefully in his home March 6, 2023. A visitation will be held on Sunday Funeral will be held on Sunday
March 12, 2023 1p.m. – 8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care-Brownfield located at 1211
Lubbock Road. A funeral service mass will take place Monday March 13, 2023 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Brownfield Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Raymond’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Grace Funeral Care-Brownfield.
Raymond was born on April 30, 1941 in Tynan Tx. to Jose B. Garza and Inez De Leon. He was a farmer all his life. He married Amada in 1962 they had seven children and have 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted family man and held on to his youth with his love for fast cars.
Raymond is survived by his wife; Amada Sanchez Garza and his sons; Raymond Garza Jr., Amador Garza and Michael Garza, and daughters; Blanca Martinez (Noe) and Rosa Rivera (Jesse).
He is preceded in death by his sons; Danny Garza, and David Alejandro Garza.
