Raquel Camacho, age 56, of Brownfield, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.
Raquel was born to Odilia and Dimas Camacho and was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was the proud mother of Ezequiel Salomon, Marisa Salomon Hernandez, Dimas Cruz Ramirez, and Clarisa Licet Ramirez Montoya, and the loving grandmother of Yazmin, Ezio, Daniel, Olivia Hernandez, and Mya Montoya She is also survived by her siblings Olga, Rosario, Rosa, and Abby Camacho, who will miss her deeply.
Raquel dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work as a professional driver, operating charter buses, school buses, and passenger buses. Her hard work and kind spirit touched many lives along the way.
Outside of work, Raquel found great joy in serving in her church and in her faith in God. She was a loving mother, a warrior for God, and a caring soul who always found ways to help others. Known for her bright smile, joyful laugh, and giving heart, she brought warmth and happiness wherever she went. Above all, Raquel’s greatest love was her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
A celebration of Raquel’s life will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Church of the Blessed, 4810 Ave P. Lubbock, Texas 79401. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor’s Johnny and Patricia Perez, Senior Leaders.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of her beautiful spirit and the love she shared with everyone she met.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
