The volunteers of Pak Pals, the group that makes sure our children in need have food for each weekend, would like to thank the community for their generosity.
This group works hard to make sure no child goes hungry. This is a volunteer group who relies solely on donations for its existence. It costs a tremendous amount of money each semester to feed the kids in need at all three schools in Terry County.
Each week, groups of volunteers meet and fill sacks with the food for the kiddos. The food is delivered as quietly as possible to the students, so as not to draw attention.
This has been a tough time for everyone, and yet during this time, people have continued to support Pak Pals and serve as volunteers for the group.
If you would like to donate to Pak Pals, this can be done at the County Clerk’s Office. Checks can be mailed to the County Clerk’s Office, as long as they are clearly marked for Pak Pals.
