Services for Olivia Alvarado Lane, 82, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.
The Viewing will be from 10 am-8 pm Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Olivia passed away on March 11, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. Olivia was born on September 27, 1940, in Sinton, Texas to Lazaro and Leonor Alvarado. She started working for Brownfield ISD as a custodian and retired after 25 years. Olivia married John Lane on February 11, 2001. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She loved spending time with her family and going to the casinos, bingo, and dancing. Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, John Lane; 2 sons, Raul Morin, and Ruben Morin, Jr.; parents, Lazaro and Leonor Alvarado, 3 brothers; 3 sisters and of course her loving pet “Max.”
Olivia is survived by her children, Jesse Morin, Norma Morin, James Morin; grandchildren, Monica Davila, Michael Morin, Gabriel Garcia, Ross Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Jessica Delao, Mariah Morin, Enrique Morin, Adrianna Morin, Kacen Morin and Londyn Morin; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
