Brownfield, Texas. On November 4 at approximately 6:26pm officers of the
Brownfield Police Department were dispatched to a disturbance at 709 North
Atkins.
Upon arrival officers found a 62 year old male identified as Danny Guerra
with severe injuries to his chest. Although life saving measures were undertaken;
by arriving officers as well as Brownfield Regional Medical Center EMS personnel
Mr. Guerra could not be resuscitated and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Anthony Rosales a 38 year old male was arrested and Booked into the Terry
County Jail for murder.
Detectives from the Brownfield Police Department and Investigators from the
Texas Rangers, Terry County Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Public
