Naomi Taylor, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 23, 2015 in Wolfforth, Texas.
Graveside Services with be 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves with John Matthews officiating. Personal services have been entrusted to Mark A Jones Funeral Directors of Seagraves.
Naomi was born to William and Fannie Shaw on October 23, 1928 in Idalou, Texas. She married the love of her life, Donnie Taylor, on December 13, 1946 in Morton, Texas. Together they moved to Seagraves in 1958. Donnie precedes her in death, after 50 years of marriage, on December 2, 1996.
Her family remembers how much she loved to travel, garden and do crossword puzzles. Naomi was also Co-Owner of Seagraves Auto Parts in Seagraves.
Those left to cherish her memories are 1 son: Ricky Taylor and wife Brenda of Seagraves; 2 daughters: Cherilyn Clark and husband Charlie of Flower Mound and Cindy Logan and husband John of Levelland; 1 brother: Everett Jones of Keller and 1 sister-in-law: Audene Shaw.
She was blessed with 8 grand-children and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Stepdad: Everett Jones and 1 brother: Bill Shaw.
