Morning accident north of Meadow

An accident this morning on 62/82 north of Meadow looked as though it had the potential to be really bad, but turned out much better than expected. The 8:30 a.m. report was that a pickup truck had rear ended a school bus going south just north of Meadow. As officers got to the scene, the bus turned out to be a Work Convoy bus, and not transporting students. That is not to say it still couldn’t have been a bad accident, but at least no school children were involved. Sheriff Timothy Click reported no major injuries resulting from the accident. The accident continues to be under investigation.
