Services for Michael Paul Sanchez, 43, of Brownfield, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with Rosary at 6 pm.
Mike, aka “Motor,” went home to be with our Lord on March 17, 2023. He was born in Lubbock, TX on April 30, 1979, to Juan Sanchez and Esmaralda Sanchez and grew up in Brownfield. He and his wife, Jessica, were blessed to have 25 years together.
In life, Motor was a man with a big heart! He was a caring Son, Husband, Dad, and Grandpa, and spending time with his family brought him great joy. Mike was an amazing provider. He worked at Anthony’s Collision for many years and enjoyed working on and painting cars. He also loved playing the guitar, but his wife, kids, granddaughters, and his mom were the true loves of his life!
Mike was preceded in death by Noe Alvarado, the dad who raised him; his brother, Juan Sanchez; his maternal grandparents, Abraham and Lily Juarez; and paternal grandparents, Raul and Elena Sanchez.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica; daughter, Chelsea; sons, Santiago Michael (Jovanaa), Ethan (Myra), and Juan Marroquin; granddaughters, Kinzley, Paezlee, Everleigh, and Nyellie; mother, Esmaralda; father, Juan; and sister, Teresa.
