Maria was born on March 18, 1953, in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Richard and Juanita Rodriguez. She was a loving wife to Ismael Contreras. She attended college and received a degree in criminal justice. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Juanita Rodriguez.
Maria is survived by her husband, Ismael Contreras; brothers, John Rodriguez and wife Marialena, Alex Rodriguez and wife Susie, Robert Rodriguez, David Rodriguez and wife Sally, Joe Rodriguez and wife Marian and Danny Rodriguez and wife Laura Rodriguez; grandchildren, Laura Rodriguez, Yesena Castro and Plutarco Perez and a great-grandchild; Teddy Rodriguez
