Linda Bullard Roberts, 81, of Brownfield, Tx passed away at home on Wednesday, September 27, 2021. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A. M. Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Loop Cemetery. Darrin Bible officiating with services conducted by Ratliff Funeral Home of Brownfield. Visitation will be Sunday, October 3rd 4 – 5 P.M. at Ratliff Funeral Home.
Linda was born to P.T. and Elma Bullard, on December 29, 1939 in Gilmer, Texas where she was a 1958 graduate of Gilmer High School. She married Richard Roberts in Bettie, Texas on September 12, 1959. They were married for 62 wonderful years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in education from West Texas State University. She taught at Loop ISD for 26 years. She enriched the lives of numerous student whom she continued to refer to as her “kids” over the years. She was an avid football fan and ran the clock at the Longhorn stadium for years. Linda retired from Loop ISD in 1998. She enjoyed traveling and multiple cruises after her retirement. Linda was a member of the Loop Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Brownfield; daughter Teresa Freeman and her husband Tommy of Seagraves; grandson Chandler Freeman of Seagraves; and sister-in-law Anne Bullard of Moss Bluff, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Perry Thomas Bullard.
