Katie MaKenzie Richolson, age 34, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1990, in Lubbock, Texas, to Lance Richolson and Misty (Jenkins) Richolson.
MaKenzie graduated from Brownfield High School and went on to attend South Plains College. Her life was rooted in West Texas, where she formed lasting connections with those around her.
A visitation for MaKenzie will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407. A memorial service will follow on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Terry County Senior Citizens Center, 1201 Tahoka Rd., Brownfield, TX 79316.
