Funeral Services for Julia Guadalupe Tijerina, 83, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm, Monday, February 6, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Viewing will be Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 4-8 pm and Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 12-8 pm at the funeral home. Rosary will be held both evenings at 6 pm.

Julia passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born April 12, 1939, in Relampago, Texas to Valentine and Manuela Treviño. Julia married Guadalupe Tijerina on March 25, 1963, in Lubbock. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She loved her grandchildren, spending time with her family, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Tijerina; son, Martin Flores, and her parents Valentine and Manuela Trevino, 4 brothers, Pedro, Julio, Roberto, and Abraham Treviño and a sister, Juanita.

She survives Julia; 3 sons, Juan Carlos Tijerina and wife Brenda, Marco Antonio Tijerina, and Michael Lee Tijerina and wife Tina all of Brownfield; a daughter, Janie Tijerina of San Angelo; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
