Funeral Services for Juan “Johnny” Gonzales, 79, of Denver City, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 21, 2022, in the Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ronnie
Lunsford officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Johnny passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, in Denver City, TX. Johnny was born October 2, 1942, in Junction, Texas to Juan and Elvira Aguero Gonzales. Johnny married Dora Guzman on June 4, 1982 in Denver City, Texas. He was a long-time member of the Denver City community, an avid collector of coins, guns, and arrowheads. Devoted Christian and Republican, loved football Denver City Mustangs biggest fan. He was a mechanic by trade, radio DJ and was in a band with his brothers.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Joe Gonzales; a sister Estella Rojas.
Johnny is survived by his wife Dora Gonzales of the home; three daughters Diana Galvan and her
husband Armando, Linda Gonzales and her husband David, Rachel Pillai and her husband Selva; two sons Albert Florez and Robert Florez all of Denver City; eight grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren. As well as four daughters Regina Sanchez and family, Anna Gonzales and family all
of Hutto, Jeannette Mauldin and family of Conroe, Tangie Gonzales and family of Kerrville; five
brothers, five sisters; along with numerous nieces and nephews. You will be miss by all who knew and loved you.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 3:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral
