Joyce Marie Harrell BROWNFIELD-Joyce Marie Harrell, 55, of Brownfield, Texas, passed away on May 26, 2015. Joyce was born on Feb. 21, 1960, to the parentage of Walter Harrell Sr. and Erma Lee Harrell in Brownfield, Texas. She attended Brownfield Public Schools. Joyce was employed with Coydell Memorial Hospital as a CNA in Snyder, Texas, for 15 years. She was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend to many people. Her life will be missed, but her legacy will live through her family and close friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Erma Harrell; and siblings, Bill, Walter Jr., Maurice, Gilbert, Inez, Vera, Bobbie, Stance and J.T. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, LaCona Devonn Harrell; Kizzy Harrell Arizmendi (Sam), son, Joshua McGara (Christie); sisters, Merlene Harrell, Annie Harrell, Frances Williams, Bessie Coe (Sam) Leatrice Hines (Tommy), Dorothy Lawrence, Ella Harrell Ward (Daniel); brothers, Robert McDaniel Jr. (Lela), J.W. Harrell (Enola) Claude Harrell (Felisha), Johnny Harrell, David Harrell (Kathy) and Douglass Harrell; uncle, Willie K. Ross Sr.; special sister, Roxann Green; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 1 p.m., at Greater New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt Zion Cemetery in Brownfield, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June, 2, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
