Funeral Services for Joy Robena Casey, 86, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 10 am-8 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Joy was born on October 13, 1936, to Jack and Oma Howard in Gouldbusk. She graduated from Coleman High School. She was a secretary for Seminole Elementary School starting in 1977 until she retired. Joy married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Lee” Casey on July 23, 1955, in Coleman. She was a loving mother and wife. Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Lee” Casey; her parents, Jack and Oma Howard, 7 siblings, Bess Bowen, Albert Howard, J.C. Howard, Odell Howard, Modena Tennison, John Howard, and Jr Howard.
Joy is survived by her sons; Tracy Casey of Brownfield and Richard H. Casey of Houston; daughter; Kathy Turner; grandchildren, Jeffery McDaniel of North Carolina, Kristin Casey of North Carolina, Tyler Casey of North Carolina, and Devin Casey of Brownfield; sister, Pat Sneed of Abilene and several nieces and nephews.
