Jason Don Churchwell, age 48, passed away on August 2, 2023. He was born in Brownfield, Texas, and resided in Lubbock, Texas. Jason was the beloved son of Ricky and Belinda Churchwell. A memorial celebration life service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at The Worship Center (TWC) West Campus located at 7116 82nd Street. Pastor Todd Turnbow, Senior Leader, Pastor Jimmy Lucero, Officiant. The family will meet and greet beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Jason was a skilled and passionate master plumber. He found great joy in his work and excelled in his profession. His dedication and expertise were evident in every project he undertook.

His family was at the center of Jason’s life, and he cherished his role as a devoted father. He leaves behind two loving sons, Tristan Churchwell and his fiancée Jennifer, and Trevor Churchwell and his fiancée Bayley. Jason was also a proud and adoring grandfather to his two granddaughters, Sofia and Sayla Churchwell.

In addition to his parents and sons, Jason is survived by his brother Bruce Churchwell and wife Holly Churchwell, his sister Kayla Ferguson and husband JR Ferguson. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces Kambree Ferguson, Kynlee Churchwell, Kaizlyn Ferguson, and Kynnedi Ferguson, as well as his nephews Tate and Knox Churchwell. Jason had a large and loving extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jason will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and his ability to light up any room. He was the life of the party, always wearing a warm smile and bringing joy to those around him. Jason’s generosity knew no bounds; he was always willing to lend a helping hand and would even give someone the shirt off his back.

We mourn the loss of Jason, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though he may be gone, his spirit and the memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts.

Forever in our hearts, Jason will be remembered as a loving father, devoted grandfather, and a true friend.

May his soul rest in peace.
