Early on Christmas Eve morning, long before sunup, Santa’s helpers were already at the Terry County Showbarn making sure everything was ready for delivery.
United Supermarkets came in with donated frozen chickens and loaves of bread for each family, and the boxes were complete.
Around 8 a.m. the boxes began to be loaded into pickups and cars, as the line of cars waiting to help deliver stretched well down 14th Street.
The Goodfellows rely on the donations of individuals, families and organizations around town to provide gifts and food boxes for those in special need during the holidays.
