Funeral Services for Gloria Flores will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Meadow First Baptist Church, with interment following at Meadow Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Gloria Flores passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 68 in Meadow, TX. She was born on April 9, 1955, in Robstown, TX, to Juan and Filomena Garcia. Gloria led an extraordinary life dedicated to her family and the simple joys of life. As a homemaker, she poured her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit and selflessness were felt by all who had the fortune of being part of her life.
One of Gloria’s greatest joys in life was the time she spent with her sisters. They shared an unbreakable bond that provided strength and support throughout their lives. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Eulogio Flores, Jr.; her parents, Juan and Filomena Garcia; and 5 sisters, Linda Reyna, Beatrice Rojas, Janie Mungia, Diana Salas, and Esmeralda Garcia.
Gloria is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Castillo, and husband Edward; 3 sons, Tony Flores and wife Julia, Tommy Joe Flores, and Jerry Garcia Flores; 2 brothers, Arturo Garcia and Juan Garcia, Jr.; 8 sisters, Martha Hernandez, Maria Garcia, Esperanza Garcia, Irma Garcia, Estella Garcia, Olga Miranda, Ermelinda Salas, and Hilda Mancha; 8 grandchildren, Matti Flores, Jerry Flores, Jr., Jeremy Flores, Derek Joe Flores, Lylah Castillo, Ryan Castillo, Adrian Soto, and Alyssa Soto; 4 great-grandchildren, Adalynn Flores, Lucas Flores, Loki Flores, and Mylee Flores.
Gloria will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will live on in their hearts forever.
