Early voting begins next week

As early voting begins next week in Texas, we are witnessing what is probably the most expensive US presidential election cycle in history. Reports indicate that about $16 billion has been spent, marking a 20% increase from the 2019-2020 cycle. Also, with Georgia’s early voting turnout on the opening day, Tuesday, Oct. 16th, shattered the 2020 record by 123%, soaring from 136,000 to 328,000. This high turnout could be an indicator of outstanding voter participation, both in early voting and on November 5th in Texas and the whole country. Early voting begins in five (5) days, so here is a look at early voting days and times, precinct locations, and sample ballots.

Early voting: All early voting in Terry County will take place at the Terry County Joint Elections Office in the Terry County Annex at 507-A West Main in Brownfield.
