Funeral Service for Dwayne Halbrooks, age 87, of Conway, Arkansas, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Brownfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Loop Cemetery.
Dwayne was born on September 15, 1937, in Loop, Texas, to Filbert and Lora Halbrooks. He was a member of the Needs Creek Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Dwayne was a Master Member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
He and his wife, Betty, farmed for over 40 years before retiring to Conway, Arkansas. Retirement life was raising cattle and enjoying countless trips to Branson, Missouri.
Dwayne is survived by his wife of the home, Betty, and their 3 daughters, Vicki Hataway (Jim) of Springtown, Texas, Gayla Bishop (Cager) of Brownfield, Texas, and Kim Rodgers (Wes) of Seagraves, Texas. Their grandchildren include Erica Hogue, Ryan Dill, Haylee Dill, Lindi Rodgers, Tee Rodgers, Jaron Hataway, and Jordan Hataway. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
