Donna Kaye Mitchell was born on December 7, 1947 in Lubbock to Donald Ray and Evlynn Darlene Decker Mitchell.
She Married Riley Cogdill on October 30, 1966 in Meadow, Texas
They moved to Lubbock in 1966 from Meadow. She was a CPA and professinal bookkeeper and tax preparer for 38 years in the Lubbock area.
Her hobbies included playing bingo and winning, crafts, crocheting, blanket Afton quilting, collecting brass fixtures, and a variety of T-Shirts. She enjoyed getting her hair fixed weekly and her nails manicured.
Donna Kaye enjoyed reading her Bible. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son – Casey Dee Cogdill.
She is survived by her spouse of 55 years Riley Cogdill of Lubbock, and her sister Debbie Gass of El Paso.
