In their regularly scheduled meeting, held via Zoom, the Terry County Commissioners worked a very brief agenda and then spent the bulk of their time on announcements.
Judge Butch Wagner urged everyone to please be diligent about wearing their masks. “With the numbers we are having and are going to see, we have to all be wearing our masks. If you won’t wear it for you, then wear it for me and my family.”
The numbers in Terry County have continued to climb and the number in our local hospital has reached a critical level. The Judge stated that anyone planning an event should contact his office to receive permission at this time.
Commissioner Mike Swain stated, “We want to keep our schools open and we want to be able to continue to have our school activities. If we don’t get serious about wearing our masks, we are going to end up with another train wreck of a school year. People have got to understand the importance of this.”
