It is that time of year again!! We are looking forward to our 4th Annual Christmas Light Parade.
This year, the parade route is different and kicks off on 2nd Street, right between First Baptist Church and The Crossing Church. We’ll be using their parking lots for parking and staging. Judging will happen at the corner of 2nd and Main Street. (See map below for parade route) The parade will begin at 6:30 pm on Sunday, December 7th, 2025.
Also new this year, we’re letting walkers join the parade, as long as they’re decked out in Christmas lights! There’s even a prize for the best-decorated walker. Just a heads up: NO SANTAS are allowed since “THE REAL SANTA” will be riding on a firetruck at the end of the parade.
As always, we want you and your crew to get in on the fun with a trailer, float, ATV, golf cart, or vehicle. Just make sure everything is decorated, brightly lit, and festive! (Must have Christmas lights) You can sign up at City Hall or email us at christmas@brownfieldtx.org. There is no cost to sign up.
We’re also giving out prizes for the best organization, best business, best individual, plus the best-lit ATV/Golf Cart. There will also be a prize for the best-decorated storefront in Brownfield.
So gather your friends and come join the parade! It’s going to be a blast and a memory that the students will treasure for years to come! Plus, there’ll be food trucks and activities on The Square, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too.
