Memorial Service for Carolyn Stowe will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Carolyn passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023, at the age of 75. Born on February 21, 1948, in Bohnam, Texas, Carolyn was the daughter of Gene Smith and Margaret Fletcher.
Carolyn loved the outdoors and spending time with her neighbors. Gardening was one of Carolyn’s greatest pleasures, and she took great pride in tending to her vibrant collection of houseplants and her animals. She enjoyed going shopping with her friend.
Family was important to Carolyn. She loved her children unconditionally, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Sharing laughter, creating memories, and offering unwavering support were among the many ways she demonstrated her deep affection.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Stowe, her mother Margaret Fletcher, her dad Gene Smith, her stepdad Lee Fletcher, sister Becky Sloan Watkins, and her granddaughter Ashley Resha Hiracheta.
Carolyn is survived by her children Crystal and husband David Casarez, Caryn and husband Julio Caballero, Cheryl and husband Victor Ramos, Cindy and her husband Johnny Montoya, and son Lee Walter, Jr. and wife Cheryl Medcalf, and many grandkids and great-grandkids.
Carolyn will be greatly missed.
