The Lady Cubs Volleyball squad came out Tuesday night for their first game of the season as well as their first home game. It was a great beginning to their season as they upended Kingdom Prep Academy in a sweep of three sets, 25-11, 25-12, & 25-14 going 1-0 on the young season. Coach Vander Dussen said, “We had a solid start to our season on Tuesday against KPA, taking the win in 3 sets. It was great to see all the pieces working together and securing the win, playing very cohesively and aggressively throughout the whole game.”
Next up for the Lady Cubs is the Shallowater Tournament which begins Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. The Lady Cubs will begin pool play and face off with Trinity Christian at 2:30 pm, and then they’ll take on Miles in match 4, then Christ the King in match 5. First and second in the pool will advance to the Gold and Silver Brackett.
