Brownfield Cubs well represented on All District list

by admin

With Shallowater falling to Whitesboro 50 -25 in the Region 1-3A Semifinal game, the All District lists can now be released for District 1-3A.

The Brownfield Cubs, who finished in 3rd place in the District, were well represented on the All District List.

Cub Head Coach and Athletic Director Aarrhon Flores was named Co-Coach of the Year. Flores is in his 3rd season as the head man for the Cubs. Prior to that, he was Offensive Coordinator for Head Coach Duane Toliver for the Cubs. He brings the continuity to the program that the Cubs have long needed. He is a man dedicated to building better men to go out into the world, while also coaching them to leave it all on the field.

Sophomore Kayden Wise was named Newcomer of the Year for the Cubs. Kayden stepped in and has become a force to be reckoned with on defense for the Cubs. Kayden garnered at least one interception this year that led to a Cubs touchdown on the ensuing drive. Kayden has a strong work ethic and is a great addition to the Cubs future plans.
