Services for Billy Franks will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Billy passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Brownfield. He was born on August 20, 1929, to A.J. and Dovie Franks in Bienville Parish, LA. Billy married Cecilia Callaway on August 17, 1955, in Brownfield. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Billy loved God, his family, and the church. Billy is Preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Dovie Franks, and sister, Gwen DuBose.
Billy is survived by wife Cecilia Franks; 2 daughters, Delane Crutcher and husband Greg, and Jan McKenzie and husband Tom; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Buddy and John Franks.
