BidCorp had its first meeting of the year this Monday at 4 pm. BIDCorp started off the meeting with no public comment and had 8 items to discuss on the agenda. BidCorp approved the minutes of the December 12th meeting. The second item on the agenda was to review the financial report and funds on hand for December 2022. The Board was pleased with how the financials looked for the month of December and approved the item. The next item was to review the sales tax report but was not ready at the time of the meeting so BIDCorp no action was taken so the board motioned to table the item for the next meeting. Item Number 5 was to discuss and possibly make an action on the land dedicated to “High Plains Winery Estates” and to discuss the proposed changes in tracts to planning and zoning. The board was presented with 2 options for the proposed changes and was recommended to go with option A but the decision was not for the board to decide. No action was taken.

The next item on the agenda was to discuss the outstanding invoice from Sign-Pro for the Rialto. Back in February Sign-Pro submitted a bid to fix the Rialto sign and were to be paid when the sign was completed and operational. The Problem? Sign-Pro did not fix the sign and was by no means operational so BIDCorp never paid although the board had voted to pay. The Board approved to pay off the 3,193.36 invoice and is now cutting ties with Sign-Pro and will sign up with a new company.
The next meeting is scheduled for February 13th at 4 pm.
