BHS grad named Denver City High Principal

Denver City ISD is pleased to announce Beau Rains as the next principal of Denver City High School. Mr. Rains is a 1999 graduate of Brownfield High School.

As an educator of 17 years, Mr. Rains has spent the last 5 years as the assistant principal at Denver City High School. Before coming to Denver City in 2016, he was an agricultural science teacher at Rising Star, Jacksboro, and Plains.

Mr. Rains received his Master’s degree in Agricultural Education and his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University. He received his principal certification through Lamar University and is currently pursuing a superintendent certification through Lubbock Christian University.

Mr. Rains has been married to his wife, LaChrisa, for 14 years and they have two daughters, Taylor, a 7th grader at Gravitt Junior High, and Taitlyn, a 4th grader at Kelley Elementary. “The students and staff at Denver City High School have been a joy to serve the past five years and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue in this new role as high school principal,” stated Mr. Rains.

Superintendent Dr. Patrick Torres stated, “Mr. Rains is a person of great character, integrity, and humility. He is a hard worker and a team player who continuously strives to grow and learn in order to have a positive impact on students, staff, and the community.”
