A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Betty Reed will take place at New Hope Baptist Church 1405 N. 6th Street
Brownfield, TX on Friday July 8th, 2022 at 11:00am, and burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brownfield.
Mrs. Betty Reed 75, of Brownfield passed away peacefully on Sunday June 26, 2022. Betty was born April 21, 1947 in Brownfield, Texas to Pankie Nolan and Dan Ray. She married John H. Reed Jr. in the 1960s. Betty was a loving wife , mother , and grandmother. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years. Betty enjoyed cooking , playing cards , and babysitting her grandkids and many others. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband John H. Reed; Two Children, Betty Elaine and Paul Reed; granddaughter Courtnee Stell, and Makaily Stell; grandson; Machali Stell. Siblings , Mary Nolan , Willie Lee Nolan , Willie Earl Nolan. She is survived by her 4 sons. John Reed of Brownfield, TX , Danny Reed and wife Marvalyn of Seagraves, TX, Billy Reed of Brownfield, TX, Shaun Reed of Brownfield,TX; 5 sisters Margie Jackson, Francis Johnson , Carvie Nolan , Lashell Nolan , and Glenda Dotson of Brownfield,Tx ; 4 brothers James Nolan of California, Kevin Nolan , Larry Nolan , and Jerry Nolan of Brownfield, Tx. ; 24 grandchildren, A host of great grandchildren; A host of Nieces and Nephews.
