A Thank you from the Tony Dill family

by admin

Our hearts will be forever grateful.

Our souls will be forever humble.

Thank you fellow famers, friends, and the Terry County community for all of the ways you honored Tony Dill and helped our family during this difficult time. We want to thank you all for the many prayers that were prayed on our behalf, the text messages that were sent, the caring phone calls, the thoughtful cards, and the beautiful flowers. Thanks to everyone that brought us food during our grief. We want to thank those of you who drove your tractors and equipment to line the road to the graveside. This beautiful sight meant so much to us and to our children.

We want to say thank you to those of you who helped harvest Tony’s last crop of peanuts. Thank you to Tejas Peanut Company for stopping work to process Tony’s peanuts. Thank you to the truck drivers that hauled these peanuts. Thank you to those who provided meals to these volunteers.

We want to thank everyone involved in stripping his last cotton crop. We offer our thanks to everyone who stripped, built the modules, tarped the modules, and marked the modules and round bales. Thank you to Southwest Cotton Growers Gin for ginning his cotton crop. Thank you to Brownfield Farmers Co-op Station for donating the diesel for these harvests.

We are also thankful to Ag Texas, Farm Bureau, Brownfield Farmers Co-op Station, Foshee Spraying, and The Triple D for cooking and serving meals to the harvest volunteers. And thank you to the individuals who have supported us behind the scenes in ways we have not seen or even known about.

God saw everyone of you, and I am sure he said, “Well done, good and faithful servants of the Lord!” You were all the hands and feet of Jesus. The Glory of God was evident in all of your actions. We thank you and we are so proud to live in this community.

With all our thanks and gratitude,

The Tony Dill Family
