Joshua Neil Goen went to his heavenly home on December 7, 2022, at the age of 43. He was a beloved son, grandson, son-in-law, husband, and father, as well as a servant leader and Christian man.
Joshua was born on May 11, 1979, in Littlefield, Texas. He grew up in Anton and later moved to Shallowater. He held a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Texas A&M University and a Master of Education Degree from Lubbock Christian University.
Joshua was a faithful man who loved the Lord, and his family, church, and community. Throughout the years, he enjoyed spending time with his extended family, supporting his girls in all their many endeavors, and watching them grow into the strong, loving, intelligent, and kind young women they are today. He was the most devoted and caring husband, father, and uncle in the world. He never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need and was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone that he knew.
Joshua is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Bethany Diann; two wonderful daughters Zimrie Faythe and Zailie Grayce; parents Jenny and Brady Goen; grandmother Doris Heron; brother Brandon Goen and his family; brother Travis Goen and his family; brother Malachi Goen and his family; sister-in-law Marissa Bonsell and her family; and so many others that dearly loved him.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 16, 2022, at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bo Shero officiating. Visitation will be held at Brownfield Funeral Home, but date and time are pending. Please check back for updated information.
