At the BISD Board meeting on Monday, it was a night of honors for many BISD employees and one student.
BISD Superintendent Chris Smith invited the entire Food Worker staff to the meeting and recognized them as Unsung Heros. “These ladies work so hard and they don’t get much recognition, so we wanted to bring them here today and honor them publicly. BISD presented each worker with a $25 Sonic Gift Card.
Helping to present the other awards was Board Member Edgar Rivera.
