Graveside service for Ivy Bell Minchew, 87, will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Denver City Memorial Park with Rev. Kyle Streun officiating with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City, Texas.
Ivy died Monday December 13, 2021 in Weatherford, Texas
Ivy was born on February 28, 1934 in Fairfield, Texas to E.D. and Ida Handley. Ivy married Jimmie Minchew on June 30, 1950 in Fairfield, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Denver City, Texas. She and her family moved to Denver City, Texas from Lamesa, Texas in 1964.
She was preceded in death by her parents E.D and Ida Handley; her husband Jimmie Minchew in 1981; a daughter Sharon June Anderson in 2000; a brother Jim Handley in 2014; and a sister Elizabeth Tindle in 2013.
Ivy is survived by her two sons Phillip Wayne Minchew and his wife Margie of Weatherford, Milton Earl Minchew and his wife Cathy; a daughter Darlene Eady and her husband Brent all of Denver City; along with eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Denver City..
