As part of their continuing efforts to give back to the community, Cooper Natural Resources presented checks to three different organizations on Wednesday. Presenting the checks in behalf of CNR were Lane Schaknecht and Jr. Elmore.
The Goodfellows received a check for $3,000 to help with purchasing toys and presents for those kiddos in Terry County who might not otherwise have very much for Christmas. Accepting the check were Sheriff Timothy Click and City Manager Jeff Davis, Co-Chairmen of Goodfellows.
The Brownfield Animal Shelter received a check for $5,000 to help offset expenses for spay and neutering, shots, and rehoming and fostering costs. Accepting the check was Animal Control Officer Julie Funtenatto.
The Terry County Senior Center received a check for $3,000 to help with their daily costs associated with providing low cost meals to Seniors and others in the County. Accepting the check was Betty Charlebois, Director of the Senior Center.
