Jill Ann Trice, 73, of Denver City, TX passed away on October 5, 2021 in Denver City. Jill was born in Monahans, TX on March 19,1948 to Samuel J Rucker & Hilda Faye McCoy.
She went to school and graduated from Denver City High School in 1966 after which she attended cosmetology school. She married Joe Deaton Jr. in 1965 and had 3 children Maranna, Duff & Cully.
She had her own hair salon in Wyoming. After moving back to Denver City she went to work at ProLog Wireline services & worked there for 20 years. She married Bill Trice in 2001 and inherited 3 more kids, Hank, Debbie & Cindy. She loved quilting, sewing, garage sale shopping & traveling. She enjoyed making gifts for those she loved, and loved her 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Hilda (Annie) & her step son, Hank.
She is survived by her husband Bill of Denver City TX, her brother Buck of Brady Tx, Her daughter Maranna of Pecos TX, Son Duff & Wife Kristy of Denver City, TX, Son Cully & wife Cindy of Kermit TX, Step Daughter Debbie Trice of Hobbs & Step Daughter Cindy Bentle & husband Richard of Hobbs, her 10 grandchildren & 3 great grandchild (with 1 on the way).
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home & Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Denver City Cemetery.
