Meadow First Baptist Church collecting supplies for border missions

Rev. Greg Breedlove, pastor of Meadow First Baptist Church truly has a heart for missions. Those in the Meadow community, as well as members of FBC would certainly attest to that fact. Not only that, but his wife Amy feels the very same.

In March of this year, Greg and Amy felt called to go to the border and see how he could help in the crisis that is continuing to grow on the border of Texas and Mexico. What they took with them was over $1,500 worth of diapers and wipes. This was the result of hearts open to help them with their journey.

Amy also took stuffed animals with her and saw God work in a marvelous way as she was able to distribute all the stuffed animals to kids who have come to the border with nothing.

In late July of this year, Greg and Amy will be going back to the border to help again. Their heart for missions has led them to go and share God’s love with those on the border who have no way of knowing for sure what their future holds. But, while sharing with those folks at these overloaded centers on the border, the Breedlove’s hope to show them who holds the future.

Greg sent this flyer:

No matter what your politics are and no matter how you feel about what is happening at the border, there are so many that are down there that are hurting and lost and scared. So many little ones are there through no fault of their own. No matter what happens when they are removed from the facility, they need to have their basic needs met while in the facility.

These are people that need to know that Jesus loves them and died for their sins, the same as you and I. Consider making a donation of money or some of the items listed for Greg and Amy to take with them.

“Then Jesus will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.’”
