Thomas Herrera was sworn in on Friday morning by County Clerk Kim Carter, as a new Deputy for the Terry County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Herrera grew up in Wolfforth and graduated from Frenship High School before heading to South Plains College in Levelland. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Terry County Sheriff Timothy Click stated, “I am excited to have Thomas on the force. He will be a great addition to our staff. He brings a background of knowledge of criminal justice system with him, and I know he will really work hard for Terry County.”
