  • Total Recoveries: 391,508 ( Up 6,606)
  • Total U.S. Deaths: 100,442 ( Up 1,513)
  • Current mortality rate in U.S. is 5.9% (No change)
  • More reported COVID19 deaths in the U.S. than any flu season since 1957
  • CDC reports that since the beginning of the outbreak at least 62,000 healthcare workers have contracted COVID19 and 291 have died

  • Total Texas Cases: 58,542 (Up 1,222)
  • 37,626 Recovered (Up 1,251)
  • Deaths: 1,581(Up 35)
  • Texas mortality rate is 2.7% (No change)
  • There are more recovered than active cases in Texas 
  • 230 Texas counties reporting active cases (Up 1)
  • 1,692 lab confirmed COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized (Up 158)
  • 15,315 total hospital beds available in Texas, 1,592 ICU beds available
  • 2.01 per 1,000 people in Texas have contracted COVID-19
