Terry County is working smart to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19, protecting employees and the public as it continues to deliver important services during the pandemic.
It recently put to use supplies of hand sanitizer, donated by Tito’s Homemade Vodka, in support of its work-safe efforts. The TAC Risk Management Pool (TAC RMP) secured the donated supplies from Tito’s, which donates to first responders. Supplies of personal protective equipment, such as hand sanitizer, have been difficult to obtain in recent weeks because of high demand.
The county is putting this important safety resource to use where it is most needed as officials and staff serve the public.
Terry County is a member of TAC RMP. As a Pool member, the county accesses risk management and risk control programs and services provided at no additional cost that improve workplace safety and save tax dollars.
Governed by a board of county officials, TAC RMP has provided counties with protection against risks and liabilities for more than 45 years and has more than 400 members statewide.
