Worshipping a bit differently

by admin

Easter is a bit different this year. But there is still that eternal truth. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

There are many ways to worship this Sunday, in spite of what is going on in the world around us. Here locally, we have a few churches doing a “drive-up” church, while other will be broadcasting as they have for the last few weeks. Find a place to worship. Worship with your family. God and His mercy will be what brings us through all this.

Bethel Baptist Church will be holding their drive-up service once again in their parking lot at 806 East Hill Street. Everyone will stay in their vehicles and there will be ushers to help you park. There will also be activity packets with Easter goodies.

Calvary Baptist Church service will begin at 11 a.m. and will be in the parking lot of the church and broadcast over the radio in your vehicle, just tune in to station FM 107.5. If you can’t be there, they will also be on Facebook live and the Church YouTube channel.

Faith Family Fellowship and First United Methodist will be meeting jointly at 10:30 in the parking lot of Attebury Grain (Goodpasture). Ushers will be there to tell you where to park. Their service will be broadcast live on TownTalkRadio.com

As far as we know, all other churches will continue to do their broadcast via the internet in some manner. Most churches now have a YouTube channel at this point and are easily found.

Do not forget the significance of this day, even with all the worry and concern in the world around you. Don’t ever forget who conquered the grave. He is surely strong enough to conquer all your fears and worries too!
