ACES will be hosting their Annual Winter Scholarship Tea on Friday, February 28 from 3 – 6 p.m. in the ACES building on the west side of The Square.
This annual event is always fun and, more importantly, raises money to fund the scholarships awarded by ACES to area graduating seniors. Last year, ACES was able to give out eight scholarships and was also able to give each student a new laptop to take with them to college.
Stop by for homemade spiced tea, home made hot chocolate, Mystic Chai and other flavored teas and more. This is an easy stop for an afternoon break or on your way home from work. What a great way to shop support for our students!
Charlyce Arnold, the Director of ACES has such a heart for this community and for the students in this county. Her parents, C.E. and Brenda Arnold, were long-time educators in this town and instilled a strong belief in the value of education for everyone in Charlyce. ACES was established to honor their legacy in education.
