Even though the community of Brownfield is about six weeks from the local/municipal elections, there has been much talked about the $40 million bond election for Brownfield ISD. If passed on May 4th, 2019 the school district will be able to build a new high school and move the middle school over to the current high school plus there will be security upgrades and other upgrades to the district property.
