Doris Engle Holler Mckay

MCKAY, Doris Engle Holler Doris Engle Holler McKay, 89, died Monday, June 25, in Austin, TX. Born in Denver City, Tx August 25, 1928, Doris graduated from high school there in 1945. She was preceded in death by husband Charles, her parents, and four siblings and is survived by sons Bob, Don, and Mike and their families, including four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family recently held a private dinner and memorial service in Austin, and burial will be in Denver City next to her husband of 52 years. The family gratefully acknowledges the care and support received at Gracy Woods Nursing Center and from Heart to Heart Hospice. They have established a student scholarship fund at Crane Independent School District, and donations may be made to the Doris and Charles McKay Family Scholarship Fund, c/o CISD, 511 W. 8th Street, Crane, Tx 79731.
