Seagraves, Texas- SEAGRAVES… … Graveside services for Darrell Ray Petree, 78, will be conducted Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 1:00 P.M in the Gaines County Cemetery, Seagraves, Texas with Ray Young and James Kinnaird officiating. Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves. Mr. Petree passed away February 12, 2018, in Lubbock, Texas
Darrell Ray Petree was born November 30, 1939, in Dawson County to Dee and May Lisenbee Petree. He married Linda Pillow on April 9, 1993, in Seagraves, Texas. Mr. Petree farmed for many years and later became a truck driver for Vulcan Chemical Company and he was also a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Petree was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Petree of the home; two sons, Donald Petree and his wife Joan of Wylie,
Ray Young and his wife Sonya of Seminole; two daughters, Janet Stytz and her boyfriend Robert Pugh of Hobbs, New Mexico, RaDonna Kinnaird and her husband James of Seagraves; a sister, Edith Renfroe.
Twelve Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
