Shirley May (Bownds) Mosser

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet mother, Shirley May Bownds Mosser. Our heavenly father called her home on September 21, 2017, at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Mosser, her parents Casey and May Bownds, sister Patsy Lou, and brothers Dee, Wiley, and Laudie Bownds. She was born in O’Donnell, Texas on April 10, 1936 and is survived by her four children Jimella Mosser of Midland, Rose Shive (Alan Shive) of Spring, Martin Mosser (Rita Gilbreath) of Pecos, and Patrice Mosser of Wink. Two granddaughters Leslie Eldred (Jason Eldred) of Spring and Lindsay Shive (Ross Dupont) of Austin. One great granddaughter Reagan Eldred of Spring and one sister LaRue Blacklock of Clovis, New Mexico and a brother Casey Bownds of Littlefield, numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M Thursday, September 28, 2017 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Denver City, with graveside services at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton at 3:00 P.M under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
