Services for Jay Jason Diaz, 31, of Robinson will be held at 10 am Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Matt Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a family visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Jay was born on July 16, 1984 to Adrian Garza and Raquel Contreras Lozano in Lubbock. He graduated from Brownfield High School and then attended West Texas A&M in Canyon. Jay was a Baptist. We say goodbye to our beloved Jay that filled our lives with so much laughter. He was loved by so many friends and touched many lives. We will never forget our love, our son, our brother, my grandson, and our uncle Jay. Give Papo a big hug for us. We love you so, so much, our little Jaybird. May God bless you in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cipriano Contreras, and aunt, Ester Arranda.

Jay leaves behind his love, Heather Turner of Robinson; parents, Adrian Garza and Raquel Contreras Lozano of Lubbock; two brothers, Daniel Lozano of Lubbock, Adrian Lozano, Jr. of Lubbock; sister, De’Anna Lozano and husband, Keegan, of Brownfield; grandmother, Isabel Contreras of Brownfield; two aunts, Rita Contreras and husband, Mike Vacca, of Lubbock, Sylvia Mendez and husband, Alfred, of Hobbs; two uncles, Jaime Contreras and wife, Sally, of Brownfield, Mario Contreras of Lubbock; and beloved nieces and nephew, Alisa Mariah Contreras, Mandy Contreras, Xoe, Xaiden, Emeli, Madison, and Katie Bug.
