Four Denver City High School Cross-X Debate teams swept the top honors in the District CX Debate meet held in Denver City on Wednesday, February 10.
Jacee Billings and Marlow Davis finished in 1st Place, Erin English & Robert Mendoza placed 2nd, Oscar Hernandez and Justin Riley were the 3rd place team, and 4th Place went to Reagan Calk & Ray Carrasco.
The top two teams will advance to the State meet in Austin on the campus of the University of Texas during the first part of Spring break.
The top four places have earned the UIL Literary team 48 points for the district meet which will be held on April 6.
