Students going to Washington, D. C., during Memorial Day week in May held a fundraiser drawing at Brownfield Middle School. The $350 winner of the Overton Hotel with dinner for two stay was Forrest Latham of Lubbock. Winning the day at Planet Spa, a $150 value, was Kelly Betterton of Brownfield. Willie Fierro of Lubbock won the $100 gift certificate to Anderson Jewelers and Dellia Garza of Brownfield won the $74 wine basket.
