The Brownfield Industrial Development Corporation (BIDCorp)Board of Directors will discuss the appications they have received for the Director’s job during its regularly-scheduled meeting Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. at City Hall.

The discussion will take place during an executive session and will not be open to the public.

The position is being filled due to the retirement of current BIDCorp Director Jack Cargill, who has announced his retirement effective Dec. 31.

Cargill said Thursday afternoon that the city has received a total of 13 applications for the position.

The BIDCorp board will also discuss its contract with Pride Network Inc., the parent company of NTS Communications. NTS recently opened its Brownfield office and has begun operations within the city.
